Three geosciences majors recently presented their research at the 2019 Northeastern Section of the Geological Society of America (GSA) conference in Portland, Maine. Professor of Geosciences Cynthia Domack was their advisor.

Senior Ursula Castiblanco’s poster was titled “A Reference Collection of Devonian Arthropoda (Trilobites):  Geer Road Quarry, Eaton, New York.”

Austin Ford, also a senior, presented “A Reference Collection of Devonian Mollusca From the Geer Road Quarry in Eaton, New York.”

First-semester senior Gillian Roberts presented “A Reference Collection of Devonian Cnidaria and Bryozoa From the Geer Road Quarry in Eaton, New York.”

The posters were based on paleontology senior thesis fieldwork conducted at the Geer Road Quarry in Eaton, N.Y., about 20 miles southwest of campus.
