Thanks to trained student drivers, the Clinton-New Hartford Jitney runs every day, logging around 38 hours a week and 15 miles per trip (roughly 570 miles a week). New Hartford is the most popular route, with stops at Hannaford supermarket, Target, Walmart, and Marquee Cinema.
On Saturdays, the Utica Jitney allows students to visit Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute, ethnic restaurants and grocery stores, and Black/Latinx salons and barbershops.
In addition, the jitney offers service to the Kirkland Municipal Building on Election Day, so that students can cast their ballots.
