The Continentals (5-2-1 overall) slipped one spot to No. 11 in the D3hockey.com poll and they are ranked 13th for the second straight week by USCHO.com despite posting a pair of NESCAC wins at Russell Sage Rink this past weekend. Hamilton defeated Middlebury College 4-1 on Friday and edged then-No. 13/14 Williams College 3-2 on Saturday.
The Continentals take a three-week break for finals and the holidays before they return to the ice in late December. Hamilton travels to Saratoga Springs, N.Y., for a non-conference game against Skidmore College on Saturday, Dec. 30. Skidmore comes to Clinton Arena the next day for another meeting with the Continentals. Hamilton already owns a 4-1 victory against the Thoroughbreds in the championship game of the 2017 Skidmore Men's Hockey Thanksgiving Invitational at Saratoga City Rink back on Nov. 26.
