Heidi M. Ravven, professor and director of Jewish Studies, gave an invited presentation on "Spinoza and Freud on Moral Responsibility and Law," at the Center for Philosophy, Psychology, and Psychiatry, Norton College of Medicine, SUNY Upstate Medical University, on Aug. 18.
Ravven was invited by Associate Prof. Michael J. Miller, director of the Center for Philosophy, Psychology, and Psychiatry. Miller has also convened and runs a monthly research discussion group at the Center on Philosophy and Psychology, to which Ravven has been invited to be an ongoing member.
