Visiting Assistant Professor of Literature and Creative Writing Andrew Rippeon joined a panel on the life and work of poet Larry Eigner (1927 - 1996) at the 45th annual Louisville Conference on Literature and Culture Since 1900 in February.
Rippeon’s talk detailed Eigner's audio-visual media environment, its relationship to the poet's cerebral palsy, and how the poet incorporated radio, film, and television into his poetic practice. Proceeds from this "life and work" panel are forthcoming in an edited volume.
