Mission Statement 

The Hamilton College Transportation Department supports the academic and residential mission of the College by providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services to our community. With a commitment to efficiency, accessibility, and respect, we help students, faculty, and staff navigate our beautiful campus and surrounding region. Our goal is to foster connectivity and well-being while upholding the values of service, accountability, and care.

The Transportation Coordinator joined Hamilton College in 2018 and became part of the Transportation Team in April 2022. After serving in a leadership capacity throughout the 2024 - 25 academic year, she was officially named Transportation Coordinator in April 2025. As a parent of two - one in college and one preparing to apply - she brings a thoughtful and informed perspective to the evolving transportation needs of our student community.

Darlene Bourgeois

Assistant Transportation Coordinator

Our Assistant Transportation Coordinator began her career at Hamilton College in October 2006 as a part-time officer. Since then, she has served the campus community in several roles, including dispatcher and transportation staff, bringing years of experience and dedication to her current position. She is also a proud Hamilton parent, Class of ’09.

Shiloh Staley

Operational Support Specialist - Campus Safety & Transportation

Shiloh Staley joined Hamilton College in February 2025 and currently serves as the Operational Support Specialist for Campus Safety & Transportation. She supports the department through billing, departmental technology and software systems, process improvement, and policy development, with a focus on creating efficient systems and supporting the department’s day-to-day operations. Outside of work, Shiloh enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters while caring for her family's farmhouse and property.
