SiteManager 4.5
SiteManager 4.5
In September 2021, an update to SiteManager (v4.5) was released that incorporated a series of new features and updates to improve accessibility and search engine optimization (SEO).
About SiteManager
- In order to maintain consistency throughout the site, each module has a predefined style.
- The site editor can use the drag-and-drop functionality to determine the order of content on the page.
- To accommodate responsive design, there are designated content areas (main content area, navigation, lower sidebar and lower content area). Some module names note in which area the module should be used.
- Changes are published immediately.
- SiteManager is available to you wherever you have Internet access.
- SiteManager looks the same regardless of whether you are using a Windows or Macintosh computer.
When can I start to use SiteManager?
Please contact Esena Jackson in the Office of Communications and Marketing to coordinate training.
If only occasional edits are needed, you may submit changes online. All editors are required to complete the SiteManager course in Blackboard. Once you’ve taken the course, you’ll need to submit a request to gain editing access.

Templates & Modules
There are five templates available for use on academics.hamilton.edu, students.hamilton.edu, people.hamilton.edu, courses.hamilton.edu, and conferences.hamilton.edu.
- Responsive design templates automatically resize elements for optimal viewing on all devices. Note: You can preview how a webpage will look on a smaller screen by shrinking the width of your window.
- Modules with predefined styles are available to make it easier to build a website without any knowledge of html.
- A full-width banner can be selected for use with any of the templates.
- Templates include either top or side navigation.
