  • An etching by Scholar-in-Residence Amy Buchholz ’80 was selected for inclusion in the 2015 Delta National Small Prints Exhibition. The show continues through Feb. 27 at Arkansas State University’s Bradbury Gallery.

  • Katharine Kuharic, the Kevin W. Kennedy Professor of Art, has been awarded a residency at Gyeonggi Creation Center in Seoul, South Korea. The Center is affiliated with the Seoul Art Museum and the Naim Jun Park Foundation. Her residency will be from August 2015 to January 2016.

  • Artist Alyson Shotz, drummer and music educator Nasheet Waits, and animator Todd Akita will present a lecture on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 4:15 p.m., in the Wellin Museum Overlook. They will discuss the process of creating “The Bedroom: Time Lapse,” an animated film featured in the Wellin’s current exhibition “Alyson Shotz: Force of Nature.”

  • The Hamilton Art Collective asked students and faculty to come together and participate in an enormous installation and drawing marathon in Kevin and Karen Kennedy Center for Theatre and the Studio Arts on Dec. 6. 

  • Assistant Professor of Art Rob Knight has a solo exhibition of his project In God's House currently on view at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Porter Butts Gallery through Dec. 2. The project was supported by the Levitt Center and was developed over the past two summers with Visiting Associate Professor of Religious Studies Brent Plate.

  • Sculptures by Associate Professor of Art Rebecca Murtaugh will be on display in “Form and Facture: New Painting and Sculpture from New York.” The exhibition opens Saturday, Nov. 1, and continues through Dec. 13 at the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery at Staller Center for the Arts on the Stony Brook University campus.

  • Assistant Professor of Art Rob Knight took his Advanced Photo class (Art 302) on a field trip to the Society for Photographic Education Regional Conference in Albany on Oct. 19. Knight was one of the presenters, giving a talk on his Levitt Center-supported project In God's House.
