Assistant Professor of Theatre Tobin Ost's scenic design for Between the Lines, a musical that premiered Off-Broadway at Second Stage Theater in New York in 2022, has been released on the digital streaming media platform BroadwayHD.
The show, based on the book by New York Times bestselling author Jodi Picoult, was filmed during its 2022 run. It garnered a 2023 Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Musical; an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical; and the 2023 Hewes Design Award for projections, for which, in addition to the scenic design, Tobin provided extensive design, art direction and original renderings.
