This summer, Lydia DeTraglia ’28 and Aksel Reid ’27 are conducting independent research projects while gaining firsthand experience in a professional laboratory. Piersall ’27 Works to Preserve the Story of 9/11 at Library of Congress
History is not simply confined to textbooks for Olivia Piersall ’27. This summer, she’s helping to preserve one of the nation’s most significant historical archives at the world’s largest library. Piersall is serving as a junior fellow in the Serial and Government Publications Division at the Library of Congress, where she’s processing the library’s 9/11 newspaper collection.
