  • Laurel Symonds launched as a literary agent at The Bent Agency in Fall 2018 after nearly a decade of experience in the publishing industry. She began her career in the editorial department of HarperCollins Children’s Books/Katherine Tegen Books and has also held positions in the marketing department at a small publishing house, in a library, and as a bookseller at one of the nation’s best independent bookstores.   • Kaitlyn Thayer '19 is a communications coordinator at World Resources Institute, a global think tank and nonprofit based in Washington, D.C..   • Minou Clark graduated from Hamilton College in 2014 with a theatre major and a French minor. Her career started in the social media department at NBCUniversal, where she quickly learned that her true calling was in digital growth strategy. Nearly a year later, she was selected out of hundreds of applicants to join BuzzFeed as an editorial fellow, where she learned the ins and outs of a viral newsroom and grossed over four million page views in three months, which landed her a job at The Huffington Post. She’s since built and led audience development teams of her own at Fox Business and PopSugar. She is currently the director of growth for People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and People en Español at Meredith Corporation, the country's biggest magazine publisher.

  • Hannah Withiam ’16 is a staff editor at The Athletic, where she works with writers covering New York sports and oversees women’s basketball coverage. She previously served as a reporter/producer at the <em>New York Post. </em> She majored in comparative literature/classical languages and played on the women’s soccer and lacrosse teams.

  • Laura Frisch Marsh graduated from Hamilton College in 1991, majoring in comparative literature. Her first job was at a local newspaper where she did layout and editing work. In order to break into the publishing industry, she began to work at a store before finding a job with Little, Brown and Company in the medical textbooks division. She later transitioned into the children’s book division where she began as an editorial assistant before eventually becoming an editor. She currently works as a freelance author and editor. She has also worked for National Geographic on their Early Readers series.

  • Alix Finkelstein is the Marketing Director for the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD). Prior to joining MAD, she developed and directed content for several major New York City museums and cultural institutions, including Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, The Jewish Museum, National Book Foundation, and Pratt Institute. Alix's daughter, Margaret Riordan, graduated from Hamilton College in 2019 with a degree in Environmental Studies.

  • Maria Cubeta ’05 is a communications manager at Facebook. Previously, she held marketing communications roles at Ericsson and at Intel Capital, Intel Corporation’s venture capital arm. Maria began her career at public relations agency Burson-Marsteller.

  • TJ Daigler '18 currently works as an Assistant Account Executive at Saatchi & Saatchi. TJ majored in economics and minored in computer science and communications at Hamilton.
