The Hamilton College Opportunity Programs are comprised of two academic support programs: The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) for low-income New York State residents and the Hamilton College Scholars Program for those students who are outside the HEOP eligibility requirements.

All students selected and offered admission to Hamilton College through these Opportunity Programs have demonstrated academic competitiveness, leadership, initiative, and the potential for success in Hamilton's rigorous academic environment with support. Both Opportunity Programs provide structured assistance, with “excellence” as its goal, during all four years on campus and beyond.
