    Virtually Hamilton: Graduate Early Assurance Programs

    Hamilton’s early assurance graduate pathways are designed to simplify the journey from undergraduate study to graduate school, which can sometimes feel complicated. This virtual event will showcase our graduate partnerships and feature presentations from partner school representatives and Hamilton’s Dean of Admission John McLaughlin. We’ll explain the application process, provide an introduction to the graduate pathway options, and answer any questions you may have about this opportunity.

What This Pathway Offers

  • Early engagement with master’s programs beginning in your first year

  • Application fee waivers and a $5,000 scholarship for admitted students

How It Works

  1. Apply to Hamilton and indicate interest in the pathway

  2. Selected students receive conditional admission to the UChicago Advanced Scholars Program

  3. Complete your Hamilton degree while meeting program requirements

  4. In your junior or senior year, confirm enrollment and submit final materials

  5. Begin your UChicago master’s program after graduation

What You’ll Study

Students may apply to roughly two dozen master’s programs across the arts and humanities, such as Art History, English, Middle Eastern Studies, and Philosophy, as well as select programs in the social and natural sciences. 

Requirements & Considerations

  • Students must meet program-specific requirements
  • Participation includes ongoing engagement and advising 

Eligibility

Students entering Hamilton in Fall 2027 and future classes are eligible for this pathway.
