Financial Aid 101 for Junior Parents
Designed for parents and guardians of rising high school juniors (students who will graduate high school in 2028), this session, led by Dean of Admission John McLaughlin, will provide an introduction to the college financial aid landscape, differentiate between aid models (merit aid, need-based aid, etc.) and discuss the high level process and procedures involved in applying for financial aid.

Mid-Year Check-In for Junior Parents
Hamilton’s Dean of Admission, John McLaughlin, will discusses how to approach course selection for your student’s upcoming senior year, in order to make them a strong candidate for admission to highly selective institutions like Hamilton. The session also covers topics related to standardized testing, including test optional stances, when to submit test scores, and how testing fits as part of a holistic admission review process.
