Glade & Glen is a newsletter just for alumni, about alumni. Within these pages, you will find stories, class notes, photos, and memorial biographies for your class year and beyond. Throughout these pages, we share stories, celebrate milestones and achievements, and honor the memory of those we have lost.

Glade & Glen Spring 2023 coverTransitions

This is a bittersweet moment. While I am thrilled to be welcoming you to the stories in this issue of Glade & Glen, I am also sad to report that our inimitable Director of Alumni Relations Sharon Rippey P’12 has retired after 25-plus years at Hamilton. So many alumni have felt Sharon’s love and warmth, and we know this is not only a big change for our office, but also a huge change for the Hamily. You haven’t seen the last of her, however — join us at Reunion Weekend (June 8-11) for a special celebration of Sharon and her many contributions over the years.

This newsletter is a part of Sharon’s legacy. We will carry on what she hoped Glade & Glen would provide for you: a rich source of connection to each other and the College. In her honor, I will end this just as she would: Happy reading!
