Hamilton’s program in Beijing is among the top Chinese language programs. Students receive the support they need to gain advanced language skills, benefit from cultural opportunities, and develop a first-hand understanding of China’s people, economy, and educational system.

This is a language and cultural immersion program that is small enough to provide the individual support each student needs to rise to the challenges of the experience. By the time students return to campus, they progress in their academic discipline, acquire excellent linguistic proficiency, and become more informed citizens of the world.

Explore the Spanish language and culture through courses such as literature, economics, and politics. Work at an internship matched to a specific academic interest, and do it all speaking nothing but Spanish. Through these experiences and more, students finish the year with fluency in the language and confidence in their self-reliance.

Students can select from the more than 100 outside programs that have been approved by Hamilton.

Live, work and learn in one of the world’s premier cities and combine an internship with academic experience. Hamilton faculty directors were selected from diverse fields of expertise such as government, cultural diversity and national pluralism, international law, the arts and international finance.

The nation’s capital provides the perfect backdrop for this integrated program that includes a meaningful internship and a robust academic experience.

Hamilton and the New England Center for Children sponsor this semester-long program, in which students interested in psychology and education gain practical experience by working intensively with children diagnosed with developmental disorders.
