While the financial aid award is intended to meet the demonstrated need of each family, many families choose to finance their expected family contribution.
Monthly Payment Plan
Consider financing through an installment payment plan before taking additional loans.
- Hamilton College partners with Blackboard/CASHNet to provide electronic billing statements, accept electronic payments, administer its Time Payment Plan and provide online 1098-T statements. Enrollment begins June 20th and payments are due the 10th of each month. An administration fee of $35 is charged per semester.

Combination Plan
- Calculate the amount your family can pay per month and sign-up for the monthly payment plan.
- Consider the student’s Federal Direct Loan options (subsidized and unsubsidized).
