For the 2024-2025 break schedule, visit the Current Calendar. For general academic break information, visit the Residence Hall Arrival, Departure and Break Policies. For general summer break information, visit the Summer Housing Guide
During breaks, all services are significantly reduced if not closed completely. The Health Center is closed entirely. Should students require medical assistance, they must go to an urgent care facility. The Library, Athletic Center, and Mail Center have limited services. Campus programming is suspended, so the College will be noticeably less lively. Students may have to arrange their own methods of transportation, or contact the College.

Academic Breaks

Dining is open with very limited hours and service. There is no Jitney service. For fall and spring breaks, students may stay on campus without restrictions. For winter break, students that need to stay on campus must contact Community Living for special accommodations. Alternatively, students may participate in volunteering opportunities with COOP and AXB; information about these programs is sent via e-mail several weeks before the beginning of break.

Summer Break

Dining is closed entirely. There is limited Jitney service. For students to stay, they must have a full-time job on campus and pay rent ($80 per week for a single and $74 per week for a double). The College does not provide on-campus facilities for storage of personal items. For a list of local storage companies, visit Off-Campus Storage. Students must not arrive on campus earlier than the move in date, unless pre-approved to do so.
