Eligibility

  • Minimum Overall GPA: 2.7 (B-) *Higher GPA may be required for certain Paris Universities (e.g., Paris 1; Sciences Po)
  • Minimum French GPA: 2.7 (B-)
  • Language Requirement: Four semesters of French *Five semesters or higher is required for certain Paris Universities (e.g., Sorbonne Universté; Université de Paris-Cité)
  • Valid Passport: Students must have (or be in the process of obtaining) a passport valid until at least 6 months after the end of the program. Apply immediately if needed as  delays at this time are extremely long and a valid passport is mandatory for the visa.  

Hamilton in France is designed for students enrolled at accredited colleges and universities during the junior year or first semester of senior year (seniors please inquire early). Enrollment in a French class the semester prior to departure is strongly recommended, and is mandatory for students below the fifth level.

Application Process

Completed applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until capacity is reached. To retain enrollment, students must pay a $600 deposit within 14 days of acceptance.
