Our Team

Lisa McFall

Director, Digital Initiatives, Scholarship, and Collaboration

lmcfall@hamilton.edu

(315) 859-4788

Lisa leads digital scholarship services at Hamilton and works to connect the Hamilton Community with the digital collections and digital scholarship resources needed for them to succeed in their academic pursuits. She works with Shay to provide direction for LITS’s digital collections from start to finish, prioritizing collections for digitization while guiding a team that brings digital collections to life by digitizing, describing, and making digital materials available. Lisa partners with faculty in developing their research into digital scholarship projects that integrate undergraduate students, creating opportunities for students to develop their digital scholarship methods and skills while supporting faculty research goals. She manages budgets, technology resources, and the digital scholarship team to support digital scholarship endeavors at Hamilton. Lisa also serves as a metadata expert on campus and is happy to consult on initiatives that have a metadata component, supporting individual faculty and student metadata needs as they arise. Lisa came to Hamilton College in 2010, having previously worked at the University of Pittsburgh. When she's not at work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, playing piano and viola, and experimenting with new recipes.
