National Abolition Hall of Fame (NAHOF)
The National Abolition Hall of Fame, a museum in Peterboro, NY, honors American abolitionists, their work to end slavery, and the ongoing struggle to end racism. The Digital Initiatives, Scholarship, and Collaboration team is contributing to this mission by digitizing NAHOF's historic cemetery to produce both digital and analog maps for museum visitors to use in exploring the area. The creation of this map will not only qualify NAHOF for further funding from the National Parks Service, but will also contribute to the annual celebration of Peterboro Emancipation Day.
