How to Clear the Browser Cache
Some issues can be fixed by clearing the cache (stored temporary files) of your browser. Here's how to do so for various browsers:
Mozilla Firefox
- Click the menu button (the sandwich) and choose History.
- Select “Clear Recent History.”
- Make sure that Cookies and Cache options are checked.
- Remove the check mark in front of Active Logins.
- Click the Clear Now button.
Google Chrome
- At the top right, click the “Customize and Control” menu (three dots).
- Mouse over History and then click the top History option.
- On the left-hand side, click the “Clear browsing data” option.
- On the Advanced tab, select “All time” for the time range and make sure the top four items are checked.
- Click Clear data.
Microsoft Edge
- To view your browsing history, click the Settings (three dots in the upper right corner)
- Select History, then click the More Options (three dots).
- Select "Clear Browsing Data."
- Select "All time" from the dropdown list, make sure the first four items are checked, then click "Clear Now."
Safari
- Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.
- Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.
- Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache.
